SKIDCAR Workshop at ALERT Conference 9/15 & 16

SKIDCAR SYSTEM, INC has scheduled two innovative, advanced DRIVER TRAINING events for September and October of 2010. The SKIDCAR SYSTEM® used primarily for skid avoidance, skid recovery, or skid control lessons, will be showcased in driver training workshops exploring the use of Electronic Stability Programs (ESP) or Electronic Stability Control (ESC).The ESP/ESC in most of today’s new vehicles (and mandated to be in all passenger cars by 2012) is an onboard vehicle dynamics program that monitors, calculates and integrates corrections on mistakes made by the driver. ESP/ESC activates when a driver has made an error or is being overly aggressive. The system provides an additional safety net and may be the next best vehicle control component in keeping drivers and passengers safe and in control in all types of weather and road conditions.

Workshops will feature an up-to-date ESP/ESC equipped vehicle fitted with a SKIDCAR SYSTEM. This program will target ESP/ESC understanding, use, and benefits focused at First Responder agencies including Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Municipal fleets, Military, and Public Risk Management agencies.

Our first ESP/ESC workshop is scheduled for the A.L.E.R.T International Conference in Oklahoma City, September 13 – 16, 2010.http://www.alertinternational.com/

The second workshop will be delivered to Firefighter and EMS Drivers attending FIRE SHOWS RENO in Reno, Nevada, October 25th, 2010. This event is limited to participants and prior registration is required.http://www.fireshowsreno.com/
